A 5-Minute Reset

Today’s mindful moment is beautifully simple: five minutes of conscious breathing.

My most important tool is always my breath. It helps me channel my focus, settle my thoughts, and soften my nervous system.

I chose to lie down on my yoga mat in a comfortable position. The breathing pattern is gentle:

  • Inhale

  • Hold for up to 3 seconds

  • Exhale, noticing your abdomen rise and fall

Five minutes is all you need to reconnect with yourself. Just five minutes of presence.

I went the extra mile today and followed it with a short neck and shoulder yoga sequence. As Adriene always says, “daily neck hygiene is so important.” And she’s right — it makes a world of difference.

A small practice, a calmer day.
